Many songs need to be oiled, salted, seasoned, and just about overcooked so they’re bursting with flavor. But mixing some songs is like preparing sashimi. I just finished a project where the ingredients were top quality, fresh caught. My job was simply to present the material without damaging it. And maybe that requires even more practice and patient precision. The knife is even sharper than it looks.
